We live in a society today where the common saying from everyone is “the struggle is real”. Well just how real is the struggle is what I would like to know. Doesn’t look like it matters what walk of life you are from everybody seems to be going through something. I like to call this resistances. Resistance is when you have a plan for your life and seek direction, but it seems like everything in the universe comes against your agendas. Here are 3 things you can do to over come the struggle/resistance:
1. DETERMINATION!! Stay in tune or in touch with whatever the goal is. I know sometimes things get hard to deal with, but determination is the driving factor in life to reaching your goals. When ideas start looking shaky or situations may arise to cloud your clarity, just take a step back and rethink, revamp, and move forward!! Always remember to never give up and stay determined to make things happen in your favor. I personally have been given a lot of “NO’s” in my life and if I would have listened to them I wouldn’t be a successful published author, asst. store manager, and a business major to date. *Remember just because they gave you a “NO” doesn’t mean you have to accept.* Just smile and move on!
2. FAITH: We all have that measure of hope I like to call faith. Without faith we wouldn’t move in the direction of our goals or for that matter we wouldn’t move backwards either. No faith cause’s you to stay completely where you are and stagnant. Faith is the hope in something that you believe will come into existences. Therefore believe in what you are doing and surround yourself with like minded people that has your best interest at hand.
3. WORK: A lot of times this is the single most important factor not to be left out. The Bible declares “faith without work is dead” (James 2: 26). Work is the ability to get things done! Most of the time if you want to have success you have to create it. Created success comes at a price. Working past the mid-night hour and lack of eating are common circumstances when someone is trying to reach a certain level of success. Work, wether its physical, mental or both has to be done before achievement can be fulfilled. There is a lot of work to be done in created success, but just by breaking up the loads into smaller tasks is a good way to stay on track and not get discouraged from all the work it looks like you have to do!
There are several things that we “STRUGGLE” with in life. This blog covers only one aspect of it. What other things do you struggle with and how do you over come the situation? Respond back so it will give other readers and myself some ideas of how we can over come our struggles. Thank you!
